Bo Obama Gets Frisky
During a multi-day filming session at the White House, NBC’s Brian Williams knew what the Internet wanted to see. Several segments of the final two hour program focus on Bo Obama, the most powerful dog in the free world. The first time Michelle Obama enters a room with Bo, Mr. Williams forgets to even acknowledge the first lady’s presence, preferring to get down to eye level with Bo and tell him what a good dog he is. In this web-only clip, Bo, after smelling the camera, tries to “Shake” with the boom mic and then, exhausted from the effort, takes a nap. Enjoy!

The Secretary of Puppy - Finally
Update! Here he is, as promised.
First, I apologize for our silence this last month. I’d like to say it was because I was busy, but honestly I can’t account for where the time’s gone.
And speaking of things we haven’t heard about in a while, it’s the Secretary of Puppy. That’s right, after an excruciating post-election tease fest, there are finally leaked details about the Obama family’s dog. Quoting from MSNBC:
The little guy is a 6-month-old Portuguese water dog given to the Obama girls as a gift by that Portuguese water dog-lovin’ senator himself, Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts. The girls named it Bo
…
Well suited for formal occasions at the White House, he’s got tuxedo-black fur, with a white chest, white paws and a rakish white goatee.
Apparently the White House was planning a grand unveiling on Tuesday, and we’ll have full coverage of it if it happens, but something this good was bound to leak.

The Secretary of Puppy - Now With 80% More Socks
Leave it to George Stephanopoulos to ask the tough questions. On ABC’s “This Week,” George helped move along the puppy speculation by asking President Elect Obama directly what his family is thinking. The President Elect said that they’re pretty much decided on either a labradoodle (almost as good as a goldendoodle, Cute Animal Zoo’s preference) or a Portuguese water dog. This comment automatically sent “Portuguese water dog” into the list of hot new Google searches. Since I wasn’t familiar with the dog either, I started poking around the tubes and that’s where I came across this. Sure, it’s a commercial, but are you surprised I’d like it? I didn’t think so.
